Our First Garage/Yard Sale

So we realized we had way too much crap and as we prepare to begin this year, we have made a few decisions (we say we begin the year in May because last year we moved to Albany, Monica started a new job, we got married and we signed our lease all in May): 1. I will be commuting to finish my last 4 semesters (he will more than likely be attending Georgia Tech in Atlanta for this) and thus MOn and pete will be apart during the week. 2. Monica refuses to do yard work by herself, mow the lawn, and live in a house that is WAY TOO BIG for her and the boys. 3. We have decided to down grade and move to a small, quaint, 2 bedroom apartment across the street from where we live right now. 4. We have way too much CRAP and it will not fit in the new apartment 5. As always we do it all at once, which means we will be going on vacation for 2 weeks and upon returning we have 1 week to move out! 6. Again, we have too much crap, When did we get so much crap Ok, so now that you know our thought ...

40 under 40

Well I have to give my wife big props again. Being the little kick butt Audiologist that she is has earned her another prestigious award, The top 40 under 40 professionals in the southwest Georgia region. I am so proud of her and all of her great decisions (including picking me). We had a wonderful time at the luncheon where she was presented with her award along with all the other deserving recipiants. Along with being recognized at the luncheon she had a few pictures in the paper and a half page write up of her accomplishments. I bought like 20 newspapers last Sunday! Way to go little girl, I love you. The moral of the story is always marry a wife that is smarter than you, it will make you strive to be a better person.
